This Italian vegetable soup is a hearty meal all by itself. The mix comes complete with potatoes, carrots, flavorful vegetables, beans, herbs and a wonderful blend of spices. To add your own touch, just sauté an onion and some Italian sausage.

Mama Sorrentis Minestrone Soup (12 oz)

  • Mama’s Minestrone
    1 – 14.5 oz. can stewed or diced tomatoes
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    10 cups water
    In a large pot, Sauté the onion in olive oil until tender. Add soup mix, contents of spice packet, tomatoes and 10 cups of water. Bring to a rapid boil; boil for 2 minutes. Reduce heat, cover and cook at a slow, rolling boil, for approximately 1-2 hours, or until beans have reached the desired tenderness. Add more water if necessary. Salt to taste. Makes 10 to
    12 – 1 1/2 cup servings.

    INGREDIENTS: kidney beans, lima beans, Dehydrated Vegetables (potatoes, cabbage, onions, carrots, celery, bell peppers). Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Oregano, Basil, Garlic, Parsley.
