French Style 5 Bean Soup (18 oz)
French Style 5 Bean
1 - 14.5 oz. can stewed or diced tomatoes
1 medium onion chopped
1/4 cup olive oil
1-2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
8 cups water
In a large pot, sauté onions, in olive oil. Add soup mix, contents of spice packet, water, Worcestershire sauce and tomatoes; bring the mixture to a boil. Cover and continue to cook for approximately 1 hour, or until beans have reached the desired tenderness. Add more water if necessary. Salt to taste. Makes about 8 - 1 1/2 cup servings.
